My son took a pretty nasty spill on his bike outside normal office hours and banged up his head and some teeth. Dr. Treff quickly responded to our phone message and helped talk my wife and I through our next steps. He was able to quickly get my son in for a check up the following day to make sure everything looked good on the dental side of things. He also was very helpful at providing some info on head injuries in general and what we should be looking out for hours after the accident. We took his advice to heart and ended up in the ER the day of the accident to make sure our son was okay. Dr. Treff and his staff were fantastic. My wife and I greatly appreciate the time he took w/us on the phone and in the office to provide for the well-being of our son. Thanks Dr. Treff!!!

My 7 year old son had 2 lower baby ahark teeth situation where adult teeth grew behind baby teeth. Both the baby teeth needed extraction. Dr. Treff and his staff explained and prepared us for the procedure. The procedures went smoothly and my son doesn't remember anything from his extraction at all. In his own words "I didn't even feel like my teeth were being extracted". He recovered very quickly. Dr. Treff was kind enough to call and check on him later. Pediatric Dentistry of Burke definitely knows how to handle kids and the emotions of parents at the same time.

My son is on the spectrum, and the staff go out of their way to make him as comfortable as possible! He just had a tooth pulled, and they were quick, patient and kind throughout the entire process! This is a great place for kids!

Dr. Dave and his staff are hands down the best! My three children have been patients for 4+ years now and they love going to see Dr. Dave. The staff is very patient and kind to the children which makes them very comfortable with the dentist. We have had nothing short of excellent service. An added bonus is Dr Dave is an LSU grad. GEAUX TIGERS!

Let me just start by saying, after finding out my 3 year old had serious dental issues and would require work, I met with 5 different dentists. Interviewed them and listened to their recommendations. After meeting with Dr. Treff, I found a dentist who was honest, caring, and very passionate about his work helping children. I had a ton of questions, which he took the time to answer. He couldn’t have been clearer about what he could see, what were possible other things that would come up while in the hospital. He didn’t give me the easy answers, he gave me honest answers. My son is terrified of doctors and dentists, and will scream throughout, so Dr Treff did not have an easy time examining him. But he has progressively gotten better and better, because of Dr. Treff and his staff. Before and after the procedure, it was a night and day difference in my son. He has his appetite again, brushes his teeth and is just overall happy healthy kid again. I have switched my other children to Dr Treff after years of being with other dentists.

We had been to another dental office where at the time my daughter was 4 and was man handled at her appt by the hygienist and given "to the count of 3, or mommy and daddy had to leave the room", this caused us to be extremely upset to never come back. This is how we ended up finding such a wonder practice that really dedicates their time and patience with the little ones. When my kids know that they have an appointment they share it with everyone.... i have been told by their teachers that they have never met kids that look forward to going to the dentist. I thank Doctor David and all the staff for the pleasant and welcoming feeling to the office. The kids love coming to see you guys and as well look forward to the treasure hunt afterwards. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming to this office so that they can take great care of your little ones. Thanks guys for all that you do. Jeniffer P.

Today when I arrived at this dentist's office and we were walking in the door, my 4th grader said, "I love this place." So I thought: I probably should write a review. I rely on them so much myself, and both of my kids love it here. I have been bringing my daughters to Dr. Treff for three years now, driving about an hour to get to him, but he is worth it. He is AWESOME. He is compassionate and kind - it is clear that his priority is taking care of children. The first time I came to his office (after many hours researching and choosing him) my daughter was supposed to get some expensive work done, and Dr. Treff actually said that a different (less expensive) procedure would better serve her needs and age. That is one of the reasons I understood that he is not in it for the money, he wanted what was best for my child. He did an amazing job, the work was perfect, and I think I was the only one that was stressed (my daughter wasn't) and at a certain point (while he was working on her tooth) he told her, "You are doing great, your mom is so proud of you, she has a big smile on her face (I didn't LOL because I am a stress mess, but I really appreciated that he was trying to put my baby at ease, and she WAS put at ease, because she looks forward to coming here.) My youngest daughter just recently had to have two teeth pulled - she grew a second line of teeth like a shark and the baby ones weren't going anywhere. My younger daughter panics about even getting her throat swabbed for strep so I was sure this was going to be an ordeal - BUT IT WASN'T!!! Dr. Treff and his staff are so calming (he is funny) and reassuring. She was totally fine. It was already over, and she said, "When are you going to do it?" It was great!!!! 🙂 After a week the new teeth moved forward right into the empty spot where they were supposed to be and we were delighted. The office is beautiful, new, decorated for a kid, with even video games and a little home theater area in the waiting room. I have always found it super clean, even the bathrooms. The hygienists are super sweet and friendly, and the office staff has always been really upfront about my costs, making sure I know exactly how much I will be responsible out of pocket BEFORE the visit, which I really appreciate. I wish he also treated parents, our whole family would be in here 🙂

My children have been with Dr Treff for well over 3 years. The regular, recurrent, and emergency visits/responses have been exceptional. The office manner, professionalism, and accommodations have been consistently exemplary. I children benefit from his care and will take the dental health and awareness far into the future.
