Dr. David Treff (Dr. Dave) is a Board Certified Pediatric dentist with over ten years of experience treating children, adolescents, and those with special needs. He has seven plus years of experience in an operating room setting prior to completing dental school at New York University College of Dentistry.
While at NYUCD he participated in Honors Special Patient Care and Pediatric Dentistry. He was selected to participate in dental care abroad through NYUCD global outreach program to Songea, Tanzania and Copan, Honduras.
He completed his specialty training earning a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Here he continued to participate with NYUCD global outreach program traveling to villages in the Artic Circle, Alaska.
Dr. Dave continues as guest facility member with NYUCD providing care in Kathmandu, Nepal for non-profit organizations Seven Summits and the Tibet Fund. He has also traveled to Kopila, Nepal to treat children for the non-profit organization BlinkNow.
Dr. Dave also volunteers on the Craniofacial Team at INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he maintains credentials to provide care while patients receive general anesthesia. He has been faculty at University of Maryland at Kernan Hospital and former member of the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentists.
Currently, Dr. Dave is member of Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Northern Virginia Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatricians.
Dr. Dave is married to Dr. Christine Karapetian and father to two (Sosi and Masis). He is an adult fan of lego (AFOL), LSU Tiger football devotee, connoisseur of Vans, and BJJ enthusiast.
