Dr. Dave’s extensive experience combined with a contemporary facility and highly skilled staff members have Pediatric Dentistry of Burke positioned as a leading pediatric dentistry provider in Burke and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Dave’s journey to Pediatric Dentistry of Burke began with a degree in Biology and Chemistry and completion of a Certificate in Surgical Technology. Subsequently, Dr. Dave assisted in surgeries at Swedish Medical Center, Providence Medical Center, and Harborview Medical Center prior to enrolling at New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD).
While at NYUCD, Dr. Dave participated in Honors Special Patient Care and Pediatric Dentistry, and twice participated in travels abroad to provide dental care to underserved children in Songea, Tanzania and Copan, Honduras with NYUCD Global Outreach.
For his postdoctoral education, Dr. Dave studied at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) where he became a certified pediatric dentist.
He again traveled domestically to Fort Yukon and Venetie, Alaska with NYUCD Global Outreach program to provide dental care to underserved communities.
Dr. Dave is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of several distinguished organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD) and the American Academy of Pediatricians (AAP).
Dr. Dave is married to Dr. Christine Karapetian and has two children, Sosi and Masis.
Dr. Dave loves to create with LEGO. In his spare time, Dr. Treff enjoys Thai kickboxing, chauffeuring his children to swim, tennis, kickboxing, and soccer practices, all while following the Bayou Bengals’ (LSU) football program. Geaux Tigers!!!
